Barney - Barney's Pajama Party [VHS]

Barney, BJ, and Baby Bop are having a slumber party, providing the perfect excuse to trot out old clips of songs ranging from the pertinent ("Brushing My Teeth") to the completely irrelevant ("Down on Grandpa's Farm"). These "moments from classic Barney videos," as the display box puts it, take place mostly in the classroom, and astute young viewers may notice that Barney's kid friends change depending on the era. Whether serenading a pineapple pizza in chef hats or listening to the country & western act Riders in the Sky perform "How Does He Yodel," the dinosaur and his buddies enjoy themselves while teaching simple lessons. Although not strictly bedtime-related, this 50-minute compilation does include some rituals like the bedtime story ("The Tortoise and the Hare") and some nighttime activities like looking for fireflies and listening for crickets.
